Explainer videos starring your characters, in your voice
Spiffy Studio
Spiffy Studio is a private video studio. Create the characters who appear in your videos and the voices that narrate them, then turn any question into an animated explainer they star in, ready for your YouTube channel.
Your own characters
- Invent one from a description, or turn a selfie into a cartoon of yourself.
- Draw it in any of the studio's art styles, with poses for every scene.
- Make it your channel's host: it stars in every video, dressed for each story.
Your own voices
- Design a narrator in the Voice Lab: pick the age, accent, pace and personality, and hear it before you keep it.
- Or clone your own voice from a short recording, and narrate every video yourself.
- Give each channel its default voice, and each character the voice it speaks with.
From a question to a video
- 1. Ask: Type a question or topic, and pick the length, style, character and voice.
- 2. Make: Spiffy writes a researched script, draws the scenes, and animates your cast with narration, music and sound.
- 3. Check: A person watches every video and signs it off before it goes anywhere.
- 4. Publish: Upload it to your YouTube channel with its title, description and thumbnail.
Only with permission
A character drawn from a photo, or a cloned voice, must be of yourself or of someone who has agreed to it. Photos and recordings are used only to make that character or voice.
How Spiffy Studio uses YouTube
You connect your own YouTube channel by signing in with Google. Spiffy Studio uploads a finished video to it only when you press Upload, and reads the channel's name and the state of the videos it uploaded. It never posts comments or changes anything else, and AI-made videos are labelled as altered or synthetic content. Details are in the privacy policy.
Who can use it
Spiffy Studio is not open for sign-ups: it is used by the people who run it, on their own channels, under the terms of service.
